Electric Soul (3-Song EP) (More Info)

(Hide Info)

Electric Soul is a 3-song demo I wrote, produced, and played on in the Summer of 2006. This material is for a future release of my solo instrumental album. I recorded the songs in Logic and GarageBand, playing the guitars live and sequencing all other instruments. 'Hanover Park' features a solo trade-off section with guest guitarist and virtuoso George Bellas. 'Electric Soul' is more of a straight ahead rock tune (check out the lick around 2:15!). Finally, 'Fire and Fury' is an all out neoclassical shred song - Unleash the Fury!!!

Forte (3-Song EP) (More Info)

(Hide Info)

Forte was my metal band at Berklee that I formed and played with during my freshman and sophomore years. This is a 3-song EP that we recorded in Fall 2006/Spring 2007. All instruments were tracked in the college dorms and mixed by Will Snyder. I produced this EP. Here's the line-up for this band:

Chloe Pappas - Vocals
Ivan Chopik - Guitars
Ray Reich - Keyboards
Ben Backus - Bass
Hector Jaramillo - Drums

The Wind Cries Mary (Sound-A-Like) (More Info)

(Hide Info)

This was recorded in Fall 2006 at several Berklee studios for a Music Production/Engineering 'Sound-A-Like' project led by Will Sibilia. The song is 'The Wind Cries Mary' by Jimi Hendrix, and it was the band's job to recreate the original recording as close as possible. No easy task for me to try to recreate Jimi's guitar parts!

Flight of the Bumblebee (Jingle) (More Info)

(Hide Info)

This is one of my first studio sessions at Berklee. I was asked by Music Production/Engineering student Michelle Manici to play an excerpt of 'Flight of the Bumblebee' on an acoustic guitar, as well as provide some reggae accompaniment for her Jingle recording project. The recording was made in Berklee Studio A in Spring 2006.

You Drive Me Crazy (Arranging Project) (More Info)

(Hide Info)

This was a fun class project that I arranged, produced, and played guitar and bass on. The project was to recreate a well-known song in another style. In this case, I tool Britney Spears' classic hit 'You Drive Me Crazy' and arranged it into what I like to call Pop Death Metal. This was recorded in the practice rooms at the Berklee dorms in Spring 2006 with Chris Rude playing drums, my former rommmate Luke Dennis singing (in the style of Tom Waits!), plus additional background vocal performances by random people who happened to hear my amp blasting outside of the practice rooms :)
